I will post about it as soon as my store gets them in, and as soon as I buy one.

    Re: Motorola Clutch Opinions?

I have the i465 and i really like it. it is a far cry from my previous phone the HTC Touch Pro. But the touch was costing me over a 100 bucks for the unlimited and it was driving me crazy to pay that much. Anyway i got the i465 because i'm a texter and it looked like it was a good phone for that purpose.

I really like the functionality of the phone. It is small lightweight and rugged designed. I'm trying to get use to the operating system, like I said i had the Touch Pro with Windows 6.1. So this phone has surprised me though with the features that i can take advantage of. The camera quality is a 1.2 mega pixel not so great but work good. I like the threaded text messages as well. that is something new to the iDen phones. Once i was able to load my own apps it became a little nicer to have. You can load .wav ringtones. I love the fact that i can use the Opera browser instead of the one that is preloaded. This phone I believe is definatley worth the money $129. I paid $525 for my Touch Pro. As a matter of fact I have the specs as well.

I would post the youtube video review link but the forum is not letting me.

    Re: Motorola Clutch Opinions?

I recently purchased 2 Clutchs. So far it is a great phone, but this is the first phone I have owned that is not an absolutley basic phone and have a lot to learn. Mainly how do I load software onto it? I have a bluetooth adapter on my laptop and already have it paired, but I do not know how to select the compatible software.

I got this phone from Best Buy and I can't stay off of it! I text a lot, as well as surf the net a lot. I realy want a better web browser for this phone. I want to install Opera Mini but I'm not sure if that will effect anything else on the phone such as the PTT feature. Anyways, I love the phone!

    Re: Motorola Clutch Opinions?

I really dig my Clutch. And, like others, this is my first NON-barebones phone I've ever owned. Got it at Best Buy with the 2-year replacement(only 20 bucks, come on?), and I'm stoked on it. Took a bit to get used to the tiny QWERTY thumbboard though. It's been 2 weeks now, and I finally feel like I got it down. Overall I'm extremely happy with it.

    Re: Motorola Clutch Opinions?

I really like this phone. I really want to like this phone, I paid 100 bucks for this phone.

Overall feel. The keys on the black one are nice and soft and don't feel cheap or make that click sound like on the red, it's nice for me, because I text and use web a lot. Doubly for the qwerty, it's just the right feel and spacing for me and after a couple weeks now, love that yes yes yes, no more plastic keys please, yes!

Phone works great, as does WT, all my old phones were Nextel and had both DC and DT. DC on boost has apparently been renamed to WT, but it's the same thing and boost models have no DT apparently?? DT is very useful in emergency situations, used it last year during the flooding, but seems boost disables it. huh?

camera. Worthwile for making avatar pics or a quick outdoor scenery shot, you can get it and I'll like having that, but nowhere near the 2.0M quality of my old and toasted brick the i880. I had a o.7M Sony ericsson that took better and that was years ago. Colors wash off-true and not the best sharpness in anything but bright light.

multimedia. You can not bluetooth or email yourself ringtones or wallpapers, same old Boost but I could assign emailed pictures on my i880 and i570, it's a step backwards.

UI. The UI is about the same, improved visually somehow, with a couple new options, better looking icons, etc.

FINALLY a white on all black theme, is about the greatest improvement, along with not having to have another flip. I don't like flips (or sliders, I so wish the 856 wasn't a slider, with it's bigger memory and camera and features) Motorola flips break. A lot. Sliders? idk

messaging. threading is kinda cool but not really necessary. This thing hangs your messages just like all other iDen handsets out there, but the first for me is you can actually find the hung ones in your outbox. Unfortunately the only way to lauch those off is to either power down and back up a couple times to get through a few at a time on the list or to cancel and then resend, but at least you can see them. Unfortunately you won't know there are any in there unless you check manually. There should be a big orange LED flashy thingy on it whenever unsent messages are queued, lol.

There's at least 5 other networks and a dozen MVNOs (prepay brands) where I'm at so I'll prolly give this over to a friend in a couple months and try another pre-pay service.

It's a nice phone, much nicer than say anything on tracfone or wathavya and if it feels like an upgrade to you by all means enjoy it it's just i've been with them for about 2+ years, 2 lines of service and I'm just curious if for another hundred whether I could do better with Verizon or Virgin or Tmo or AtNt and so on.
