Motorola Defy



Vodafone will soon launch two Motorola’s Android smartphones for Europe hopefully within the next couple of months. Both the Milestone 2 and the Defy were showcased at IFA Berlin and both are headed for Vodafone.

The Milestone 2 runs Android 2.2 Froyo and has MotoBlur. It is a GSM version of the Motorola Droid 2 that is currently with Verizon. Features of the Milestone 2 include: a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.7 inch FQVGA (480 x 854) touchscreen display, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, 5MP autofocus camera, HD video capture and playback, 1GHz processor, and 8GB of on-board memory.

The second Android smartphone for Vodafone is the Motorola Defy that will also feature MotoBlur. The Defy will run Android 2.1 and is considered to be water and dust resistant and will come with features such as: a 3.7 inch FWVGA Gorilla Glass display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, and 2GB of internal memory.
