    Clear App Cache/Data:

    NOTE: Incase one of your apps freezes, crashes, takes up too much storage inexplicably or otherwise doesn’t work as intended, you can try fixing these issues by clearing the app’s cache/data.

    WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all your personal data stored within the app will be deleted, including user profiles, save files, login and credit card information etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app’s cache.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Apps”
    3. Ensure “All Apps” is selected at the top of the screen
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Storage” > “Clear cache”
    6. If clearing the cache didn’t help, you can tap “Clear data” > “OK” (check WARNING above)

    Clear the Phone’s Cache Partition:

    NOTE: If y our phone doesn’t work as intended, crashes, freezes, or runs out of storage inexplicably and you’re considering factory resetting the device, alternatively you can try solving these issues by clearing the phone’s cache partition.

    1. Firs turn the phone OFF if necessary
    2. Next, press and hold “Volume Down” and “Power” at the same time for at least 5 seconds
    3. After you gain access to “Boot Mode Selection Menu”, release both buttons
    4. In the menu, press “Volume down” to navigate to and highlight “Recovery”
    5. Press “Volume Up” to select the highlighted option
    6. At the “No Command” screen, press and release “Volume Up” and “Power” repeatedly until you gain access to the Android Recovery menu
    7. Once in Recovery, press “Volume down” to navigate the menu and highlight “Wipe cache partition”
    8. Press “Power” to select the highlighted option
    9. Once the cache partition is wiped, “Reboot system now” will be highlighted
    10. Press “Power” one last time to confirm and reboot your phone

    NOTE: In case clearing the cache partition didn’t help, you can check this thread for a guide on how to factory reset the phone instead.

    Reboot to Safe Mode and Remove an App:

    NOTE: If you have installed a third party app on your phone that causes issues and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app from within Safe Mode. In this mode, all third party apps are disabled. To access Safe Mode:

    1. Press and hold “Power” while on the home screen
    2. Tap and hold “Power Off” in the pop-up menu
    3. When prompted to reboot to Safe Mode, tap “OK” and wait for the device to reboot (NOTE: once done, a “Safe Mode” label should be visible in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Open “Settings” and scroll to then tap “Apps”
    5. Ensure “All Apps” is selected in the drop-down menu at the top
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK” to confirm
    7. To exit Safe Mode, reboot your phone as you would do normally
