Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Moto C Plus to your computer via USB
- Enable Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the computer
- Copy and paste the desired audio files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and Notification folder(s)
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- On the home screen, swipe up to access the apps drawer
- Launch Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Tap Phone ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Access All Contacts and select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
