How can I add apps to my lg rumor touch virgin mobile?

I'm new here and need help puting a Pandora app on my lg rumor touch.I would like to alos add a app for playing music the native one sucks.I read that you can download them and put them in your memeory card.So where and how do you do this.Pleas help me....
