When I used tekniwap to send a MSN messenger alert to my phone(i860), and when I log onto msn messenger I get an error msg...."500: Internal Server Error" and when I click on details it says "1002: Digest is too large for device." Has anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it?

I spent some time on the phone with nextel on that issue yesterday. They say it's a know network issue that they're working on.
I dunno, that's what they always say...

i don't know if this is the issue but MSN changes their security settings all the time and I had similar problems logging onto my hotmail account on my phone. it worked then stopped working for like 3 months then started working again.

I'm having the same problem both logging onto msn messanger & opening up my hotmail messages. I spoke with Nextel they said it wasn't a problem & msn said they were looking into it. The crazy thing is that I could access it for like a month and then it just kept giving me that error message. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you for inquiring about the "500 internal server," error, when using the MSN Messenger service on your Motorola iDEN i860 phone.

We sincerely apologize for the inability to utilize the MSN Messenger service on your Motorola iDEN i860 phone.

In order to utilize the MSN Messenger option, we advise to perform a Master Reset on your Motorola iDEN i860 phone. To perform a Master Reset, please perform the following:
    - Press the Menu button and select Settings
    - Scroll down and select Advanced and select
    - Scroll down and select Connectivity
    - Select Master Reset and select O.K.
    - Enter 000000 and press O.K. under the left soft key
    - Select Yes for Master Reset
    - When "Caution See Manual," appears press the O.K. button.

Once the phone has powered off, please power the phone on. The Master Reset would then restart the browser on your phone, which would then refresh the ability to use the MSN Messenger option.

To reset the browser on your iDEN phone, please perform the following:
    - On your phone select MENU and then NET.
    - When the NET browser starts select MENU for the browser menu to
    appear.
    - In the browser menu scroll to and select ADVANCED and then scroll
    to and select RESTART BROWSER.

If the issue persists, please contract Nextel Customer Care at 1-800-639-6111 for further assistance with the service issue on your Motorola iDEN phone.

We hope this response has answered your questions and concerns about the "500 internal server," error, when using the MSN Messenger service on your Motorola iDEN i860 phone.

    Thank you for choosing Motorola.

I think NEXTEL's server was having a brain fart. Tried using NOL to access AIM two days ago and ended up with the following problem:

    Enter Username: *****
    Enter Password: *****

    Sending)))))))))))))

    Receiving((((((((((((

    Enter Username: *****
    Enter Password: *****

    Sending)))))))))))))

    Receiving((((((((((((

...and again, and again, and again.

Might be connected to the MSN problem!?!?
