I am new to the i730. My previous Nextel phone was an i95c. I want to be able to have my phone vibrate twice before it begins to ring aloud. The i95c did have that feature but the i730 does not seem to have it.
I looked at the manual on page 66 and under the section titled "Ring and Vibrate", item number "5" indicates to "Select Assign w/Vibe". When I follow the directions on the phone, there is no place to select "Ring w/Vibe" that I can see. I want to believe that I am missing something, but I have tried it several times with no luck.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Again, I am looking to have the phone vibrate a few times before actually ringing. This gives me a chance to answer the phone during meetings without the obnoxious loud rings. I loved that feature with the i95c and miss using it.

OK, I figured it out today. To get the phone to vibrate twice before ringing, the instructions are actually misleading on page 66. Below is the correct procedure.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Ring and Vibrate
To set your phone to ring and vibrate when you
receive phone calls:
1 From the main menu, select Ring Tones.
2 Make sure VibeAll is set to Off.
3 Scroll down to the ring tone that you want to assign.
4 Press the Menu Button.
5 Select Assign w/Vibe.
6 Press OK for Phone Line 1.
7 Your Phone will now vibrate twice before ringing with your selected ring tone.
