I was a customer of Cingular, talked my way out of the contract, partially.
I only payed $75 for the deactivation fee, anyway of talking my way out of the nextel contract, I don't use the walkie talkie feature, which I thought I would.
I work at a cellular place that carries all carriers. I knew sprint had that text messaging chang in their contracts and customers could bail out.
Is nextel at any risk like that, and YES I understand when I signed, I signed a biding agreement, are there any loopholes.
**BTW I have had it for about 3 months**

They (Sprint together with Nextel) are one in the same, what do you think?

Call Sprint CC, they are helping current Nextel subscribers move over to their network. Termination fees, activation fees & deposits have been significantly lower for many of my customers lately. It's not guaranteed though, if they give you a hard time ask for the number to the retention department.

The only way to get out of a Nextel Contract is the switch over to Sprint. They will also run credit and any deposits would have to be paid again.

All I know is one day I had Nextel for years...The next day they changed me to a sprint plan.
No credit check, no deposit, no change to my account or billing.
That's why I say they are one and the same.If you find this post helpful, click on bottom of each post: Like l Share
