Does anyone know if Nokia will ever make an antenna-less flip phone that will include all of the bells and whistles (i.e. camera, bluetooth, IR etc.)? NEC has came out with some formidable models 515/525. The NEC phones are real nice but I would like to see a Nokia flip phone one of these days.

The 7200 isn't Bluetooth though.

That's exactly the problem with Nokia fellows(and samsung too).
They make a new model phone but don't put enough features in it to actually make it usable.
The 7200 runs on Series 40, yawn, you have'em once, you have'em all.
In this respect, I like SonyEricsson though. They never compromise phone features(unfortunately neither do they compromise the price.)What you lookin' here for ehhh?

But the Nokia 6230 will lead the pack.
The 7200 is basically a female fashion phone.
Looks a bit boring but comes with a 32mb MMC, streaming video, FM radio, Bluetooth, video camera, VGA stills and an upgraded screen.
Sticking a 128mb memory card in it will give hours of MP3 from a small micro phone.

Let's not keep high expectations for the 6230. There was so much hype about the 6600, in the end it was old wine in new bottle, or rather an old nokia in a new Xpress-On[tm]. Only there was a screen upgrade from the 3650, and a new box to put it in.

I guess why the 6230 looks the best so far for s40 is because it's quite a small fone and has most of the s60 functions,.... fone's like 5140 which is coming out after 6230 has even worst functions,... (eg. 4k colour screen) tough it also has a VGA cam....

Yeah, but the USP of 5140 is not the screen, it's the new PTT feature. ie Push To Talk, which essentially converts the phone into a walkie talkie if someone else is also using a PTT compatible phone and in the near vicinity(ie next street, or lane etc). That way there won't be hefty phone bills.

oh, ok.
Where do you live?
It shouldn't be a probs to get it anyway.
But it's pretty useless if only one person has a PTT enabled phone. What you lookin' here for ehhh?

I don't mind the 6600. Got a lot of video clips (over 20mb) I carry on memory card, screen is better than Siemens' SX1 & camera is pretty good in night mode.
For me, 6230 is better because I find MP3's in such a small phone pretty useful.
Screen on the 6230 is much better than existing series 40.
I have each one of these (and many other models) from work.
Don't be surprised to see a range of Series 40 models with MMC cards announced over the next 5 weeks. ie. At the 3GSM show in Cannes from Feb 23 and at CeBIT on March 16th.
Nokia are segmenting models - the 7200 for women, 5140 - outdoor/sports/youth/tradespeople, 6230 business/entertainment/techie etc.

Thanks for the segregation.
But if the 6230 is meant for techie then why does it not contain the PTT feature? What you lookin' here for ehhh?
