Hello all I just bought an unlocked nokia 6620 to use on the cellone network. For some reason when it first boots up and gets to the screen that shows battery life and signal it just locks up. Anyone know why it would do that? I was told cellone uses 850freq and this phone is capable of that. Would cellone have to change some settings around or it should just be plug and play right? If anyones had this kind of experience id appreciate any information.

    Hi,
I don't know if I understand what you are saying, does it say anything or does it just freeze like the computer would. Is the phone unlocked? Maybe its not, but it should be, my came unlocked.

I love that phone and I'm sorry to hear you are having a problem. I have cingular and cingular was not help to me, with configuring the network....But the nokia page did help me....I would start there

    www.nokia.com

Good luck, I'll be checking in to see how its going

It gets to the main menu and just freezes. None of the buttons work and the only way to turn it off is by taking out the battery. I am going to send it out to nokia tonight. Thanks for the responce.
