I just bought a new 6620 from ebay but had been opened and tried from what i can tell. I have a 6600 already so im already familiar with its operation. now here is the weird thing, when i press the menu button on the left, it brings up the camera! there is no way i can find to get to the menu so i can access the Memory Card, games, or whatever. Generally you can hold in the menu button to get the list of all active programs but that still doesnt work, it will just open the camera. does anyone know how to reassign this to the menu?
also, i did try the code to restore to factory defaults but it didnt change anything. even still has all the phone numbers from its previous owner. is there maybe a "master master" restore code that i dont know of?

TRY THIS: MENU - SETTINGS - PHONE - STANDBY MODE
Then you can redefine your soft keys, this should fix the problem

the problem im having is i dont have a working button that goes to the menu. so i cant even get past the first step you mentioned. when i press the menu button, it opens the camera. Its the menu key that i want to reassign. im beginning to think the phone was just programmed incorrectly when it left the factory and is just a fluke

if you are referring to the two soft keys (the buttons on the sides of the joystick with the name of the button on the screen), they are CAMERA and GOTO. the menu button that im having problems with is the one under the green dial button and above the alpha button
