Hello, this is my first post so if I do or say something wrong let me know please.
I will be posting this in both the “Nokia” & “Motorola” section if that’s ok.

I will be getting a Tracfone soon and there are two phones I am interested in but I don’t know witch one to get, so I ask all of you what phone is better, the “Nokia 2600” or the “Motorola V170”? The only features I want if for it to have a color screen and I would like to be able up upload my own ring tones (without having to pay to do it)

Both phones are $49.99 so obviously there is no price difference.

So once again “Nokia 2600” or “Motorola V170”?

    Thanks in advance.

I have compared both the phones using Phonescoop, please view the comparison here; http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/co...B%5D=&id%5B%5D=

To add to the fact that you are purchasing a new phone, in my personal opinion, I would spend a little more and get a lot better of a phone.

From what I can see, the phones are not very feature loaded, but if you only want a colour screen and being able to download stuff, I guess that doesn't matter.

The Nokia phone has a much higher user rating, which is believeable because Nokia phones are known to be sturdier and last longer. Too add to this, Motorola Phones are known to have problems, including their most popular handset, the RAZR.

A very nice feature about the Nokia phone is that it does have changeable faceplates, so if something were to get wrecked (Screen cracked, etc.) You could spend about $20 and get a new faceplate, where as with the Motorola Flip Phone, if the screen were to crack, you would need to purhase a new phone due to Warranty would NOT cover it.

All in all, the Nokia seems to have better reviews, but, as I stated before, I would look into spending a little more money on the phone and get an entirely different one. Spending a little extra now could be a profitable investment in the future.

Hope I could be of help!

I still can't decide what I'm gonna do!
    • Bell vs. Fido
    • RAZR V3c vs. Nokia 8801 vs. Nokia 7380

PM me if you have any suggestions!

On the link you gave me I got this:

    "ERROR: File not found (404)

The requested page does not exist at this address.

We apologize for the inconvenience. In the mean time, please continue browsing using the navigation links on the left."

Actually since I will be getting a new phone within a few months after I get this one I think I'll just get the "Nokia 1100" from Tracfone since its only $19.99 plus they give you 60 minutes free.

Here’s the link incase you want to see all of the Tracfone's that are offered to me, If you think it wouldn’t be smart to get this phone let me know.

    Sorry for the inconvenience, the Link is as follows;

Well, I never realized the selection of handsets in this particulur company. So I guess the company is very limited to what you could recieve.

If this is the case, Nokia phones are very reliable, so I would actually go with a Nokia Phone (Even if they don't look as cool)

In any event, I hope I could be of help!

    Oh ok, thanks.

Its not so much that they are limited its because of the area I live in doesn’t have a whole lot of Tracfone users so they don’t want to pay to bring the best products for us to use but one way or another a cell phone is a cell phone, as long as it works when I need it to. Lol

I couldn’t care less on what the phone looks like.
