Hello,
I recently purchased a 6300, which uses a 2.5mm headphone jack. I would like to get a somewhat inexpensive set of stereo headphones to listen to MP3's on the phone. Can I basically purchase any headset with a 2.5mm jack and they will work or what?
Thanks!

Re: Stereo headset question
yes you can! the 2.5 and 3.5mm are merely just different jack sizes. they both do the same things. you can look for some 2.5mm headsets, but to my knowledge the best quality headsets to use usually come in 3.5mm sizes (as this is the standard headphone jack size). if you end up using one of these headsets, you will need an adapter liek this one:
3.5mm (female) to 2.5mm (male) Premium Headset Audio Adapter - Free Shipping.
that way, you can plug the headset into the female part of the adapter, and plug the male end of the adapter into your phone. if you're looking for other headsets that have 2.5mm plugs, check this link:
Universal 2.5mm Cell phone headset @ Accessorygeeks.com
hope that helps, and goodluck!

Re: Stereo headset question
Fisrt ,check your headset by plugging it to other regular device which uses
3.5 mm jack to broadcast music such as a walkman or staff like that.
if its ok the problem is related to the adapter you have purchased. take it to the shop and ask for refund or change.
If its not ok so there is something wrong with your headset and now you gotta take this to the shop.
Hope not to have the problem anymore.
