I had been using a 6230 for a year or so.
I "upgraded" to a brand new 6230i 2 weeks ago.
My reception is not as good as with the old phone.
I frequently get no service inside my house - never had that problem with the 6230.
Anything I can do to improve my service?
Is this typical? Thought I was getting a better phone?

Re: Reception problem with my 6230i
What carrier are you using it with? If it's at&t, then the phone will not work as well because of lack 850mhz GSM frequency, the 6230 was equipped with 850/1900mhz, the 6230i is 900/1800/1900mhz

Nice news. I don't need 6230, for now, but ones listed below interest me a lot! Thanks for sharing

Re: Reception problem with my 6230i
So I went to the Nokia 6085.
Does almost everything my 6230 did, except for voice tags.
And it is a flip - my first flip.
Reception and quality is great.
Listed my 6230 on ebay - seems like it will sell, based on the amount of questions I have been getting.
Thanks
