- 12-02-2008, 11:29 PM #1Nokia needed a high-end phone to limit Apples raid of market share in the smartphone. That device was announced today and while there was very little information on the specifications of this new phone, called N97, it is clear that it will take the iPhones goal to be a great Internet and communications device as well as the term smartphone to a higher level.

I saw this thing on Engadget. Looks amazing, however I don't think they should have use the tactile feedback screen like they use on the 5800. The new OS for it looks pretty slick, but I have a feeling this one won't be able to crash Apple's market share without getting the phone onto ATT or T-Mo, in that states at least. Should do pretty well overseas.

Wifi is the killer for me too, though that phone looks very nice.
Still love my iPhone beyond all else though, the apps are just neverending, and some are even useful too!
