News: Nokia 5250 becomes official with Ovi Music Unlimited

Nokia has officially announced the Nokia 5250 as a "music centric device for those wanting a modern multipurpose mobile". As shown above, the Nokia 5250 comes in a variety of colors and features a music player on the home screen, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio, free copy of Guitar Hero 5 Mobile and Ovi Music Unlimited in some select markets. Other features include: 2.8 inch, 640 x 360 pixels touchscreen display, GPRS/EDGE connectivity, social networking integration, 2MP camera, 51MB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support (up to 16GB).

Battery life is said to last up to 7 hours talk time with up to 24 hours of music playback and 18 hours of standby time. The only thing that the Nokia 5250 is missing is Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS. The Nokia 5250 is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year with a cost of €115 before taxes and subsidies.
