Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Nokia 5 to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones, Notifications and/or Alarms folder(s)
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Tap Sound & Notification under Device
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the phones internal memory or the SIM Card
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification > Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification sound and tap OK to confirm
