Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files
- Copy the desired files form the PC and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the Media folder
- Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact you want to edit
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification > Default notification ringtone
- Select the notification ringtone you want to use
- Tap OK to confirm
