Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and Notifications directories
- After the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Add Custom Ringtones to Specific Contacts:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM Card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Press OK
Change the Notification Alert:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification > Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Press OK
