Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings”
  6. Click “Export vCard” and once done, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard via Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can use third-party apps to share your iPhone contacts, such as My Contacts Backup for iOS which can back up and share contacts over email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Write an email and attach the vCard
  4. Send the vCard to your own email address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
  3. Open the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Choose a transfer method on one of the phones
  7. Follow the prompts to complete the process
