Turning Call Waiting On or Off

1. Open your Phone app and then swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap Settings -> select Call Waiting.
3. Then tap the Call Waiting switch to enable or disable the setting.

Setting up Call Forwarding

Tip: Check with your wireless provider to see if this feature is available for you.

1. Open your Phone app and then swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap Settings -> select Call Forwarding.
3. Set the switches to On.
4. Then if you want to change the number your calls are forwarded to you need to tap the drop-down list under one of the switches and then type the number where you’d like your calls to be forwarded to.

Blocking Calls

Note: In case you have BlackBerry Mobile Voice installed on the BlackBerry Z10 or you have more than one phone lines, you may need to select a specific phone line before you can block calls.

1. Open your Phone app and then swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap Settings ->-> select Call Blocking.
3. Then set any of the switches to On.
4. If this is the first time that call blocking is turned on, then you will be requested to create a password in order to lock the call blocking settings.
5. If at a later time you’d like to change the password, you need to tap Call Bloocking and then tap the Edit icon.

Showing or Hiding Your Number when Performing Outgoing Calls

1. Open your Phone app and then swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap Settings -> select Show my Number.
3. And to show your number when making outgoing calls, turn the Allow My Number to Appear switch to On.

Setting up Smart Dialing

With the help of smart dialing the area and country codes will be automatically applied to the phone numbers you call, which means that you won’t have to dial the area or country code when you make calls within your country.
Additionally, calling a company or organization has never been easier! By using smart dialing you set an extension access number for a company, all you need to do is add the extension number in the Contacts app for any contact of that particular company, and then the company’s phone number and extension will be dialed automatically when you call that particular contact.

1. Open your Phone app and then swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap Settings -> select Smart Dialing.
3. To change the country or area code, tap Country Code or Area Code, as desired.
4. Tap Set your Extension Access Number if you’d like to set a company extension number.

Setting up a Fixed Dialing Numbers

By enabling this feature you will only be able to make calls and send texts to the numbers that are added to the fixed dialing numbers list. This is particularly useful if you give the BlackBerry Z10 to a child and you’d like to limited the numbers where he could call.
In order to use this feature, a SIM card must be set up by your service provider and some carriers may not support it.

1. Open your Phone app and then swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap Settings -> tap Fixed Dialing Numbers.
3. Turn the Fixed Dialing Numbers switch to ON.
4. Enter the SIM security code provided by your carrier.
5. Then tap OK -> Add Number.
6. Enter the desired phone number and name.
