When I try to convert a WAV or MP3 file into 40 Chord smaf, I get an error saying "Wav not convertible for this format". Can you help me with this error?

you have to have a wav formatted with these specs before you can convert it to smaf
Format - PCM uncompressed
Sample Rate (Hz) - 8.000
Bit Depth - 16
Channels - Mono

Or you can use the other free program that vidguy11 posted before. Here's the link to the topic for reference: Hidden Content
The program WSC-MA2-SMAF-210-u can be gotten from the SMAF Yamaha site at Hidden Content in the Tools then Download section, I think.
