I have tried using itunes to convert the songs to a lower quality and then cutting it with MP3 Trimmer 2.5.
Everytime I attempt to play the file on my Razr v3, it says the file is corrupt.
What is teh problem?
Anyone make mp3 ringtones on a mac and not have a problem?

what specs do you set your tones at when compressing the songs to a lower quality? Hence, what is the frequency and how many channels do you have it set at?

I am just going to see what happens if I use the specs from the songs you have sent me.
I will go from there.
THanks

Easily able to use MP3 Trimmer to create short MP3 file from a song on iTunes (OS X 10.3.9). I save the file to iTunes with a name different from the original song. The file appears in folder with new, shorter name, but still appears in iTunes with complete song name.
Any ideas?
BTW - thanks for the tip on MP3 Trimmer - very cool - incredibly simple. And what do you use to move them to your phone?
Cheers (my new razr came in the mail today - can't wait to start loading ringtones)
