I'm in dire need of help. I work for a cell phone store and my boss has put me in charge of looking for ringtone software to put on our computers so we can start selling ringtones for cheap. Customers can just stop in the store, buy a ringtone for probably a dollar, and then we'll do the rest. They don't have to subscribe to anything, they don't have to figure out any equipment, they don't have to mess with any software. Best yet... they don't even need their own computer.
So this is my question. Does anyone know of a REALLY GOOD software program that would be perfect for this kind of situation? I'm looking to try and find one without the cables but if need be, my boss said he would fork out the money for the cables.
I would appreciate it very much if someone can help me on this. =) Thanks!

Re: Help with good ringtone software.
Hmmm, lots of questions here. How many different handsets do you intend to support? Is this going to be a 'under-the-table' operation? Why not just get an sms short code and play ball with the big boys? Do you want to allow people to make their own ringtones (will you need audio editors) or do you just want a way to get a bunch of stock tones onto peoples handsets?

Re: Help with good ringtone software.
We'll be putting ringtones on probably 7 or 8 different phone models. It won't necessarily be under the table at all. I want to be able to allow customers to come in and bring cd's as well and we can put their song of choice on their phone if we don't have their desired ringtone.
