News: Samsung Galaxy Xcover headed to Germany

Announced in Germany, a new rugged Samsung smartphone has just been unveiled...the Samsung Galaxy Xcover. The Samsung Galaxy Xcover is an Android handset that runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will soon be available in Germany this October.

Since this is a rugged smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover is IP67 certified and is dust, dirt and water resistant. It can be in water as deep as up to 1m. Features of the handset include: a 3.6 inch display of unknown resolution, HSDPA 7.2Mbps, Wi-Fi, and a 3.2MP camera with LED flash.

Pricing has not been announced.
