To Enable or Disable the Data Usage
1. From the Home screen, press Menu.
2. Go to Settings -> Data usage -> now you have to tap Mobile data to either disable or enable it.
3. Tap OK when done.
To Check Your Data Usage
You are able to check the data usage of your phone for a certain period of time. During this time, youll also be able to monitor the data usage of your apps.
To check the usage:
1. Press the Menu key from your Home screen.
2. Go to Settings -> Data usage -> tap the Data usage cycle to choose the one-month usage time frame.
3. Now you have to drag the vertical white bar to set the beginning and end of the period for which you want to check the usage.
4. You can swipe up to see a list of your apps and their usage. The largest usage will be at top and the lowest at bottom.
To Set a Warning for the Data Usage
1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> Data usage -> from the graph that you see, tap and drag the horizontal orange bar to adjust the data value that will trigger a warning.
3. Your data usage warning should now be set. You will receive a notification in your notification bar if you exceed your data value.
To Set a Limit for the Data Usage
1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Go to Settings -> Data usage -> Set mobile data limit to enable this option.
3. You will then see a message in regards to your data connection. Read it and tap OK.
4. Once you tap OK, you will see a new horizontal red bar on the graph.
5. Touch and drag that red bar to set the desired data usage limit.
To Add a New Wi-Fi Network
To add a new network from the available networks:
1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> move the Wi-Fi slider to ON.
3. Now tap the new network that you wish to add.
4. Enter the password if asked and tap Connect.
To add a new network manually:
1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Move the Wi-Fi slider to ON.
3. Now tap Add Wi-Fi Network. This option is located at the bottom of the screen.
4. Now enter the SSID of the network.
5. Tap the Drop-down arrow of the security and choose the security type.
6. If required, enter the security credentials and Save.
To Delete a Network
1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Move the Wi-Fi slider to ON -> now tap the network that you want to delete and select Forget Network.
To Edit a Network
To edit the network details, such as password, follow the next steps:
1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key -> Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Move the Wi-Fi slider to ON -> touch the network that you want to edit -> select Change password.
2. You can edit the security type, the password as well as the name of the network.
3. When finished, tap Save.
