Turning Wi-Fi On or Off


1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Then tap Settings -> turn the Wi-Fi switch to On or Off as desired.

Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Then tap Settings -> select Wi-Fi.
3. Select the desired network, which is should be located under Wi-Fi Networks.
4. If required, enter the password of the network and then tap Connect.

Turning Wi-Fi Notifications On or Off

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Then tap Settings -> select Wi-Fi.
3. And tap Notify me, if you want your Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II to notify you whenever you’re about to download high data user apps and scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks and notify you when found one that is available.

Turning Bluetooth On or Off

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Then tap Settings -> turn the Bluetooth switch to On or Off, as desired.

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Then tap Settings -> under Wireless and network, turn the Bluetooth switch to On.
3. Then you should see a list of available devices within your reach.
4. Select the one you wish to pair with.
Tip: The Bluetooth device you want to pair with must be turned ON and be in discoverable mode. In case you don’t know how to put the other Bluetooth device in discoverable mode, refer to its manufacturer instructions.
Also, in case you’re required to enter a password or passkey, try typing in 0000 or 1234, as these passkeys are commonly used by most of the manufacturers.


Turning Your Smartphone into a Mobile Hotspot

Tip: Due to power usage, it’s recommended that you plug in your smartphone if you wish to turn it into a mobile hotspot.

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Then tap Settings -> select Mobile hotspot.
3. Tap the Mobile Hotspot switch to On.
4. In case you’re requested to turn Off your Wi-Fi connection, tap OK.

Setting Mobile Hotspot Security

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings and select Mobile hotspot.
3. Then tap Configure.
4. Here you can select the type of security as well as the number of devices that can connect to your Mobile hotspot. You’ll also find your security key here.
Note: In order to adjust the security settings, the mobile hotspot has to be turned off.

Manage Your Mobile Hotspot Users

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings and select Mobile hotspot.
3. Then tap Allow devices.
4. You can now control which devices are able to connect to your hotspot.
Note: In order to adjust the security settings, the mobile hotspot has to be turned off.

Using S Beam

With the S Beam you can send files to other Wi-Fi Direct or NFC enabled devices just by holding the devices together.

1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu icon.
2. Tap Settings and select More settings.
3. Then tap NFC to enable this option and start exchanging files.
