Viewing the Amount of Free SD Card Space:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Go to the "General" tab
  4. Tap "Storage"
  5. You can view the amount of "Available space" under "SD card"

Setting the Default Memory Storage

By default, your device will be set to store data on the internal storage. To modify this location and set the SD card as the default storage location for various apps / services, perform the following:

Setting the Default Memory Storage For the Camera App:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Select "Camera"
  3. Press the "Settings" icon
  4. Swipe up and tap "Storage"
  5. Select "Memory card" as the default location

Setting the Default Memory Storage for the Voice Recorder:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Tap the "Samsung" bundle
  3. Select "Voice recorder"
  4. Press the "Menu" button and tap "Settings"
  5. Tao "Storage" and then select "Memory card"

Setting the Default Memory Storage For the Internet App:

  1. From any of the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
  2. Select the "Samsung" bundle
  3. Tap "Internet"
  4. Press the "Menu" button
  5. Swipe up on the menu and then select "Settings"
  6. Tap "Advanced"
  7. Tap "Default storage" and then tap "Memory card"

Setting the Default Memory Storage for Nearby Devices (DLNA) Downloads:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Go to the "General" tab
  4. Tap "Nearby devices"
  5. Tap "Download to" and select "Memory card"
