In case you're experiencing issues with your Galaxy Note 3's Wi-Fi, it disconnects, cannot connect or is otherwise unstable, then the steps below might help you fix your problem.

Common Errors:

  • "Your Internet connection is unstable"
  • Wi-Fi disconnects and Mobile data connects
  • Unable to connect to Wi-Fi
  • Connected to Wi-Fi and no Internet is available

To try and fix these issues:

  1. Press the "menu" key while on the home screen
  2. Tap "Settings" > "Wi-Fi"
  3. Long press an existing connection
  4. Select "Forget network"
  5. Press the "Menu" button and tap "Advanced"
  6. Make sure "Passpoint" is set to "OFF". This will prevent your device from automatically connecting to Wi-Fi access points that require you to enter additional authentication via your Internet browser
  7. Ensure that the "Auto network" option is also disabled, by unmarking the check box associated with it
