Changing the Wallpaper:
- While viewing the home screen, tap and hold an empty area
- Select "Set wallpaper"
- Choose what type of wallpaper you wish to change, from "Home screen", "Lock screen" or "Home and Lock screens"
- Tap one of the following options:
- Gallery: allows you to set a wallpaper from your photos
- Live wallpapers: (not available for the lock screen)
- Travel wallpaper: (available only for the lock screen) shows a series of recommended travel destinations
- Wallpaper: choose from a list of regular wallpapers
- Tap the desired wallpaper and select "Set wallpaper" or "Done"
Adding an Additional Home Screen:
- Press the "Menu" button while viewing the home screen
- Tap "Edit page"
- Tap the home screen containing a "+" symbol
- You can rearrange the new home screen by tapping, holding it, and dragging it in a different location
Deleting a Home Screen:
Removing inactive / unused home screens can not only help you organize your phone better, but it will also reduce the amount of RAM used.
- While viewing the home screen, press "Menu"
- Tap "Edit page"
- Press and hold the home screen that you want to delete
- Drag the home screen above the "trash can" icon
- Assuming that there are widgets, shortcuts or other items on the home screen, you will receive a "Remove home screen page?" prompt
- Tap "OK" to confirm, or otherwise tap "Cancel"
Adding an Additional Apps Drawer Page:
- From the home screen, tap "All apps"
- Swipe to the "Apps" tab
- Press "Menu" > "Edit"
- Tap and hold the application that you wish to move to a new page
- Drag the app on top of the "Create page" icon, featuring a "+" sign
- Tap "Save" to confirm the changes
Creating Folders:
- Tap the "All apps" icon from the home screen
- Swipe to the "Apps" tab
- Press "Menu" > "Edit"
- Tap and hold an application that you wish to be moved to your folder
- Drag the app on top of the "Create folder" icon
- Type in a name for the folder and press "OK"
- Drag other apps and drop them on top of the folder to move them
- Press "Save" to exit edit mode and save the changes
Rearranging Your App Drawer Shortcuts:
- While on the home screen, tap "All apps"
- Go to the "Apps" tab
- Press "Menu" > "View type"
- Select "Customizable grid"
- Tap "Menu" and select "Edit"
- Locate the shortcuts that you wish to move. Tap one, drag and drop it in the desired location
- Tap "Save" after finishing rearranging your apps
Adding or Removing Widgets:
- From the home screen, swipe left or right to navigate to the home screen where you wish to add a widget
- Tap and hold an empty space
- Select "Apps and Widgets"
- Navigate to the "Widgets" tab
- Browse through your widgets, and tap and hold the one that you want to add
- Drag the widget on top of the current home screen and release it
- To remove a widget: Tap and hold it from the home screen, and drag it on top of the "Remove" icon
Customizing the Favorite Apps Bar:
With the exception of "All apps", you can replace the shortcuts located on the "Favorite apps bar". To do so:
- Tap and hold a shortcut that you wish to replace from the favorite apps bar
- Drag the shortcut on an empty space on the home screen, or "Remove" it
- Open the apps drawer
- Tap and hold the app, and drag it on top of the empty area on the favorite apps bar
