Transferring Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Establish a connection between your smartphone and PC via USB
  2. On your smartphone, drag the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device" > "Media device (MTP)"
  3. From the Auto-Run window on your computer, select to browse the device's files / folders
  4. Open a new Windows Explorer window and navigate to where the audio files are stored on your PC
  5. Copy the desired files and paste them onto your phone's storage
  6. Once the transfer is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone

Transferring Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

  1. If necessary, visit SAMSUNG KIES and click "Download for Mac OS". Follow the additional instructions to install Kies on your Mac
  2. Establish an USB connection between your Grand Neo and your Mac
  3. On your smartphone, drag the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device" > "Media device"
  4. Open Kies on your Mac
  5. In Kies, click the folder icon associated with "Internal memory" or "External memory", and navigate to where you wish to add the music / audio files
  6. On your computer, navigate to where the music files are
  7. Drag the audio files and drop them in Kies
  8. After the transfer is complete, disconnect your smartphone

Adding Audio Files in the Ringtone List:

  1. From your smartphone's home screen, press the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "Settings" and go to the "My device" tab
  3. Tap "Sound" > "Ringtones" > "Add"
  4. Select either "Choose music track" or "Sound picker"
  5. Tap "Just once" or "Always"
  6. Select the desired audio files and tap "OK"

Adding Audio Files to the Notification List:

  1. Tap the "All apps" icon located on the home screen
  2. Tap "My files" > "All files"
  3. Navigate to where the music files are located
  4. Tap and hold a file and select "Copy"
  5. Tap "Device storage" and go in the "Notifications" folder
  6. Tap "Paste here"

Changing the Ringtone for All Calls:

  1. Press the "Menu" button while viewing the home screen
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Tap the "My device" tab, followed by "Sound" > "Ringtones"
  4. Select the desired ringtone and press "OK"

Changing the Ringtone for One Contact:

NOTE: Contacts that are stored on the SIM card or the phone's memory cannot have custom ringtones

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Tap the "Edit" icon depicting a pencil
  4. Tap "Ringtone". Select the desired ringtone and tap "OK"
  5. Press "Save"

Changing the Notification Sound:

  1. Press the "Menu" button while viewing a home screen
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Tap the "My device" tab > "Sound" > "Notifications"
  4. Select the desired audio loop and tap "OK"
