Contact Management
Adding a Contact:
- While on the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
- Access the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "+" button and select to save the contact on the "Device", "SIM card", "Google" or "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"
- Enter the contact's phone number and name in the appropriate fields
- Type in any additional details for the contact as you see fit
- When ready to store the contact, tap "Save"
Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:
- Tap "Phone" from the home screen
- If necessary, tap the "Keypad" tab
- Tap the "Menu" icon located in the top-right area of the screen
- Tap "Speed dial" and select the number you want to use for speed dialing
- Select the contact you want to associate with the speed dial number
Importing / Exporting Contacts - SIM Card:
- Open the "Contacts" app
- Go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
- Tap "Contacts" and select "Import / Export"
- Perform one of the following:
- To export contacts:
- Tap "Export to SIM card"
- Select the contacts you want to export, or tap "Select all"
- Press "Done" and tap "OK" to confirm
- To import contacts:
- Tap "Import from SIM card"
- If necessary, select an account
- Tap "Select all" or select the contacts you wish to import individually
- Tap "Done"
- To export contacts:
Importing / Exporting Contacts - SD Card:
- Launch the "Contacts" app and access the "Contacts" tab
- Press "Menu" and then tap "Settings" > "Contacts"
- Tap "Import / Export" and perform one of the following sets of steps:
- To import contacts from the SD Card:
- Tap "Import from SD card" and select the location where you wish to import the contacts
- Tap "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
- Press "OK" and if necessary, select the vCard file you wish to import and tap "OK"
- To export contacts on the SD card:
- Tap "Export to SD card"
- Press "OK" to confirm
- To import contacts from the SD Card:
Deleting Contacts:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- From the "Contacts" tab, press "Menu"
- Tap "Delete"
- Mark the check boxes next to the contacts you wish to remove
- Tap "Done" > "OK"
Managing Caller Groups
Creating a Caller Group:
- From the home screen tap "Contacts"
- Access the "Groups" tab and tap "Create"
- Enter the desired name for the group
- Tap "Add member" and mark the check boxes next to the contacts you wish to add to the group
- When ready tap "Done"
- Press "Save"
Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:
- Launch the "Contacts" app
- Go to the "Groups" tab
- Select the group you wish to add contacts to
- Tap the "+' button
- Mark the check boxes next to the contacts you want to add to the group
- Press "Done"
