Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Samsung device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes to access the device’s summary page
  4. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account if applicable
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. Once the sync is done, register the same Google account on the Samsung device and allow it to sync contacts with your device

Using iCloud:

NOTE: Assuming that your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account using a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Click “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  7. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer, and perform one of the following two steps:
    • Import the file to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your Android phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require access to a computer with an active Internet connection, you can alternatively transfer your contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the vCard backup file is attached to the email
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own email address
  6. Switch to the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro, open the email and download the vCard file
  7. Import the file via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you for iOS and Android, which can be used to transfer contacts and other file types, cross platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the Samsung device via the Google Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Tap “Send”
  7. Lastly, select a transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Galaxy J3 Pro’s camera to begin the transfer, or tap “Receive” on the Samsung device and manually enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
