Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: In case you have iTunes installed on a computer connected to the Internet, you can use the app to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Afterwards you can sync the account data with your Android phone.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contact” from the drop-down menu
  5. Log in with your Google account in iTunes, or alternatively click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” and start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Galaxy C9 Pro and register the same Google account
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer and head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click “Contacts” and select the desired contacts to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of these steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import its contents to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS that can back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the application and tap “Backup”
  3. After the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Write a new email and ensure the vCard file is attached
  5. Send the email and attachment to your address
  6. Switch to the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro and download the email attachment
  7. Import the vCard using “Contacts”

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party application you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The application uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types cross-platform, without needing a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro
  3. Open the application on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Select a transfer method such as “Receive” on the Samsung device or “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone, and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
