Sync iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with your Samsung device.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Go to the “Info” section and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. After the sync is complete, switch to the Samsung device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded and follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
  3. After the backup is complete, tap “Email”
  4. Ensure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the Samsung device and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use to share your iPhone contacts without requiring a computer. The app can share contacts and other file types over a peer-2-peer connection.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
