Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy and transfer the desired audio files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Back”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Access “Details” and tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
  4. Tap “Allow storage permission” and set to “Allow”
  5. Tap the desired ringtone and tap “OK” > “Back”

Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:

  1. Open “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Manage accounts”
  4. Tap your email address and access “Notification settings”
  5. Tap “Email notifications” and tick or clear the desired boxes
  6. Enable or disable “Vibrate” and “notification sound”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Access “Emergency alert settings” and tap “Emergency alerts”
  4. Enable or disable “Imminent severe alerts”, “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
