How-to: Samsung Galaxy Express Prime 3: Create and Manage Contacts, Caller Groups, Speed Dialing

Create a Contact:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Tap “+”
3. Select to store the contact on “SIM” “Phone” or to sync it with “Google”
4. Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
5. Tap “Done”

Import/Export Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “Manage contacts”
4. Tap “Move contacts from phone” and select an account for syncing
5. Tap “move” > “Import/Export contacts” and perform one of the steps below:
   
   • When importing contacts: tap “Import” > “SD Card” and select the contacts, then tap “internal storage” > “Done” > “Import” > “OK”
   • When exporting contacts: tap “Export” > “SD card” and select the contacts, then tap “Done” > “Export” > “OK”

Add Contacts to Speed Dial:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Contacts” > “Menu”
3. Go to “Speed dial”
4. Select the phone number you want to associate with the dial pad number

Delete Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Select the contact you want to remove
3. Tap “Menu” > “Delete”
4. Tap “Delete” again to confirm

Create a Caller Group:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Groups”
3. Tap “Create”
4. Enter the group’s desired name and optionally, select a group ringtone
5. When ready, tap “Save”

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Select the contact you want to add to the group
3. Tap “Details” > “Edit” > “Group”
4. Tick the check boxes associated with the desired caller group
5. Tap “Back” > “Save”
