Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “notifications” and /or “Ringtones” folders
  6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and press “Back”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Go to “Details” and tap “Edit” > “More”
  4. Select “Ringtone” and, if necessary, enable “Allow storage permissions”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Settings:

  1. Open “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Manage accounts”
  4. Select your email address
  5. Tap “notification settings” > “Email notifications”
  6. Tick or clear the check box linked with “Vibrate” and “Notifications”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Emergency alert settings”
  4. Tap “Emergency alerts”
  5. Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
