Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification shade
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC storage
  4. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  5. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “Back”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the device’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Details” > “Edit”
  4. Tap “More” > “Ringtone”
  5. Enable” Allow storage permissions” if needed, then select the ringtone you want to set
  6. Tap “OK”

Change Email Notification Settings:

  1. Launch “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings” > “Manage accounts”
  3. Select your email address
  4. Tap “notification settings”
  5. Tap “Email notifications”
  6. Tick or clear the “Notifications” and “Vibrate” check boxes

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Emergency alert settings”
  4. Tap “Emergency alerts”
  5. Enable or disable “Imminent severe alerts” “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
