I accidently password locked a name in my phone book and now it just says "--Secret--" and I can't access it. If I try to edit or delete the name it wants the password but I don't know what I pressed. I was just messing with the function and the password screen came up and I had no idea I was setting something. It's only 4 digits long though. Is there anyway I can get rid of this without the password?
Sorry if this isn't the right place for this post.

if you never set a new password, try using the last four digits of your phone number. usually those numbers are your default password.

Well the password screen was up and I rememeber pressing 2 and pressed ok. But the screen did not go away go i button mashed the top buttons and then it went away. At that point I think I set a random password. I will try out what you both said though.

not exactly sure what the cellphone is considering it's not mine. But I got it to work, the last 4 digits of my gf's cellphone number was the default password.

Re: Password Locked Name In Phone Book
You might try going into the settings menu and then security menu to see if you can access it that way.
