Buying a Samsung D600

I am buying a samsung D600. can anyone tell me if this is a good phone? And, where I can buy from with a good price.

I travel a lot, most of time is USA and Asia. I found a D600 online. It says Samsung D600(US plug). I guess it is locked phone. Is it possible to unlock it so that I can use in Asia?
