Re: Help with samsung t629 music

So I finally got mine to work. Make sure they are mp3 files and if they are not use the site someone posted before. Also make sure they are the file not dragged off media player/itunes, ect. They need to be the acutal mp3 file. I hope this helps.

Anyway I can get around this.. I have tried files with different bitrates and sizes. There is a default song on there that came with the phone, and i have tried sizes larger and smaller than the default song.

    Thanks!
Did you find a way to assign as ringtone? I called the company about my new t629 and they told me it wasn't allowed. I figured that some smart cell phone people know how despite the companies trying to make it difficult or next to impossible.

you have to keep the bitrate at 192 or below. Then you can save them on the memory card and play them from there .

You say you can play them, but will it let you assign them?

Not the full length songs, You have to edit them down to about 30 secs then you can assign them as ringtones . i use wavepad then bluetooth or cable them over.

A good free program for selecting [arts of the song you want as your ringtone, (your phone only rings for like 20 secs anyways), is mp3toringtonegold. you can find it at demonoid.com or other torrent sites

Re: Help with samsung t629 music

    Hi,

I have run into the same problems and with the help of the forms fixed them. Now I have the problem of the music player saying that the playlist is full when I try to add more songs. I have 128 songs on the memory card, but only 100 songs from it show up on the the playlist. Is there any way to fix this?

    Charlie

This is the same thing I'm experiencing. I am copying and pasting the files from iTunes into the folder on the micro SD card called music. I can see the files when I put them in the phone but the file type is "other file" and it won't play. The file is an mpeg, is that different than an mp3 and if so, how do I convert?

Re: Help with samsung t629 music

I've had my Micro SD memory card for about a month and a half. I have been putting music on the card by dragging and dropping the files from a folder on my computer to the 'Music' folder for my memory card. When I put it in my t629 and play the songs, some of the songs play but some of them say 'File Not Supported' when I try to play them. I made sure all the files were .mp3 files before I added them. I don't really know whats going on...its so confusing.

you can load all songs or other features whatever you want from your pc by using card reader otherwise with the help of blue tooth if you have in your mobile or you can load it by using multimedia
