I searched and searched, and finally found a code to allow newer samsungs, including the t629, to install widgets.
1st - Type in the code *#9998*52824678255#
A message will come up saying activated. Now you are ready to install your java games.
2nd - Download a program called jad maker, because in order to install your java games you need the .jar file and the .jad and most torrents only include the .jar
3rd - Find some compatible java games to download.
4th - Send the .jar and .jad file for the game to your phone, whether via bluetooth or usb cable. I prefer bluetooth, then you can also send them to your friends phones and exchange games.
5th - The files will most likely go to your other files folder. Open the .jad and it will install the game for you then ask if you would like to play it.
*Notes*
Each time you turn off your phone you need to re-enter the code.
Some games will simply not work on your phone.
If you would like you can reply with your phone model and list the games that work on that phone.

Alright. Well I put it in and it just says 'Unable to process request.'
I'm guessing T-Mobile is preventing me from doing this. Any other code works fine. Grr...

If no codes work on your phone:
1- Go to http://euploader.com/index.php (or alternatively, WapHQ.net Wap Uploader - Upload files to your mobile for free! - Free Wap Upload)
2- Click on Upload file
3- Click on Browse
4- Select the .jar file
5- Click on Upload
6- Click on Browse
7- Select the .jad file
8- Click on Upload
9- Go to the following url address on your phone's browser:
http://euploader.com/wap/index.php
10- Enter the ID and Code as given on the website
11- Select Download
--Best alternative I think--
toolnut43: If that code doesn't work, try this Phone Tutorials - Samsung - D500 - Installing java games/apps via Bluetooth
------------
This is another code that may work on older phone models
*#9998*5282#
A menu will popup with three choices. #3 should be install midjet, choose that one then enter this password. 235282

Yes i've seen all those threads they're for the d500 i have the t509 it doesn't work, i've tried . Also i think this code (*#9998*5282# ) resets the phone . Also i don't have a data plan so the first option would be futile . Thank you for your efforts .

I have a T-619. I can't do any browsing so I can't do the EUploader option. It's Bluetooth or nothin for me.

re: put games on your samsung
It wouldn't work with my t-629, I don't know if they have updated it since a week ago.
Here is a list of games that works on the 629 so far:
Tony Hawk Underground
Asteroids
Drug Wars
Block Breaker Deluxe (great game)
Chessmaster
Super Mario Movil
Super Bomberman
Southpark
Sim Fishing
Pro Bowling
Midnight Pool
Scarlottis (Mafia 2)
Lord of the Rings Rpg
Scarface
If anyone knows a version of Sims 2 mobile that works, please let me know!!!
