I recently borrowed (and used) my sister's MemCard so I could transfer pictures from my phone to my computer as backups. All transfers went smoothly, and I returned the card.
During the transfer, my wallpaper was reset to a default picture on the phone (the picture I was using as a wallpaper was moved to the card), and since then, any pictures I try to assign as a wallpaper show up in standard ratio.
Usually I'm prompted to check a box that asks if I want to switch the new wallpaper to a standard ratio setting, but now it happens automatically.
"Standard ratio" squishes my pictures to fit the whole thing to my screen (white bars on top and bottom; like the black bars during a widescreen movie), and if I didn't check the box, it'd stretch the picture so that it filled up the whole screen (no more bars, but the left and right sides of my picture were off of the screen). I liked this, and would take new wallpaper photos, keeping that in mind.
I've never had this problem before, and there are no settings in any menu to undo this "automatic standard ratio wallpaper" issue.
The tech support site was very unhelpful, so I thought I'd ask here.
I've already tryed a software upgrade (none were available).
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Oh, and my typical wallpaper picture size was 800x600. Anything lower than that wouldn't let me stretch it. It'd just squish it anyway.
(I've tryed out 800x600, 640x480, and the same resolutions using pictures from other phones.)

Wow, people here sure are helpful. *blatant sarcasm*
I figured it out; there seems to be a default making it so only pictures taken by my phone, or pre-modded wallpapers can be used in fullscreen ratio.
When I copied my pictures, I cut them instead, then moved them back to my phone. This made my phone think they were foreign files, and wouldn't allow e fullscreen ratio wallpaper, despite the resolution. New pictures I've taken work fine.
I'm probably not coming back here, cya!

Sorry for your bad experience. A lot of people just come to ask questions, but don't stick around to see if they may be able to help someone else out.

What doesn't work (as far as I've seen): Pictures taken by other phones; pictures that originally came from somewhere else. (Downloading straight to the phone seems to work, but transferring from your home computer doesn't; I haven't tried Bluetooth.)
As for the caller ID issue, I'm a little baffled. What's the resolution of the pictures you're trying to use? (I've gone as low as 640x480, and haven't tried lower resolutions) There are rather puny default callerID pics built into the phone, so I'm not positive resolution is an issue.
There doesn't seem to be a limit on what I can use as a callerID photo (as long as it's actually a picture, mind you).
