Nope, never tried that, that's what an iPod is for.

Re: Anyone tried connecting a SYNC to a car stereo for MP3 playback?
Great point! If I were going to do this I would try it via bluetooth simply because it's wireless and if I were a betting man I'd venture to say that there's likely more stereo's that are going to be BT capable than there are one's w/a USB port, not to mention interface issues. So I say get yourself a BT capable deck and transfer the files to it from your phone via BT and bump responsibly.

Re: Anyone tried connecting a SYNC to a car stereo for MP3 playback?
Actually my factory radio's CD quit. After looking at radios I have found more than enough choices of USB and BT units. I then came across an ad for the SYNC which is napster to go ready. The wheels started spinning. Since my wife has a napster account. I could A) upgrade my car unit. B) upgrade my cell phone, contract is up. C)Get a MP3 player. D) use the napster account for no extra $$. E) and do all of this since my CD player quit and then not use the CD player LOL.
