    Hey,
First post here. I have numbers in my address book. I have turned on caller-id. I have assigned a picture to some of the numbers. Yet when a call comes through, I only see the number. What do I need to do to have the phone recognize the caller.

Also, I have assigned specific ringtones to different numbers. How do I get that feature to work?

    Thanks!

As for the phone numbers and caller ID, I noticed when I entered numbers into my phone I didn't add the area codes so when I got a call from a person in my address book it didn't recognize the number. Once I added the area codes, all was fine. I'm thinking you might be experiencing the same problem, once you fix it caller ID, including the custom caller ringtones, will work.

In addition to the other reply, you cannot have the same number assigned to more than one name. The contacts must be in the internal memory of the phone and not the SIM card.
