Hi all,
new to this forum, hopefully someone can help me out. I'm about to take my Samsung u900t (i'm in australia by the way) back to the shop as after about 18 months the touch panel is dieing (the up arrow doesn't work, but sometimes it's like it is stuck on) so I want to get all of my data from the mobile onto my pc, which I've done with samsung pc studio. When I've done it for a friends nokia (using nokia pc studio) it was easy to just back up all the messages, with the names of the contacts and then put them onto the other phone. With the samsung version, I can transfer them to the computer (but not a seperate file), but without the contact info (just the number - no name) and I can't put them back onto the phone except in the drafts folder (which comes up as "no name"). I have a lot of messages I want to keep from quite a few different people - is there a way I can back the messages (and mms messages) to the PC and then back again as they were originally?
Thanks
Ben

Re: Phone - PC - Phone
bump.
sorry people, but the touch pad is getting worse and I need to back up all the data as soon as I can. Is there another program that I can use to connect to the phone? Or is the Samsung PC Studio the only one? Might try the Nokia version... see if that helps

Re: Phone - PC - Phone
thanks mate, but it's updating the PC Studio 3 on the internet i can't seem to do. Here are some screenshots. By the way, fixing this still probably wont help my original problem, so advice on that is still welcome.

That particular forum my be another way of finding an answer.
