samsung tocco lite internet issues

i recently purchased a samsung tocco lite unlock off the internet. i should have done my research better i believe because when i recieved it i found out it was a UK phone. well the phone works fine it can send and receive phone calls and send and receive text msgs.

I live in Alaska and my provider here is GCI, i have the wireless wap settings and mms settings
but when i enter them they dont seem to anything. i know im entering them correctly because i have another phone with the provider with the same settings.

This phone was suppose to work on any network but im apparently not doing somthing correctly or they lied to me. Any info on this subject would be really helpful.

Just curious... can you edit your browser and MMS profiles with the menus, or do you have to enter the *# etc codes to access them? I don't have a Tocco, but I'm having a heck of a time finding a way to access those profiles on my Gravity 2 and I'm thinking maybe other Samsung phones might work similar to mine.
