how do i lock my phone so you have to put in a code to gain access?

Not sure if this is what you are looking but here it is anyway.

Phone Security
The Security feature enables you to restrict the use of your phone
by others and to restrict the types of calls.
Various codes and passwords are used to protect the features of
your phone.
 From Idle mode, touch ➔ Settings ➔ Phone ➔
Security.
Lock Phone
When the Phone Lock phone feature is enabled, the phone is
locked and you must enter the 4 to 8 digit phone password each
time the phone is switched on.
Note: You will be prompted to create a password the first time this feature is
enabled.
To change the phone password, see “Change Phone Password”
on page 66. Once you enter the correct password, you can use
the phone until you switch it off.
 Touch On or Off from the Lock Phone field.

how can i unfreeze samsung a737. i did unlock the phone but now is showing this msg."phone freeze no sim card". then i put back the at&t sim card back and works ok. I used to have at&t as a provider but now i changed to t-mobile and the phone is not accepting t-mobile sim card. what to do anybody out there can help me?

There is a sticky at the top of the page in re: unlocking , maybe that will help.

When I unlocked my Impression yesterday I called AT&T for help so I could use it with my T-Mobile (no charge ).
