Samsung battery problem

Hello. I have an older Samsung SGH M610. I had a battery problem, so i've bought a new battery last week but it doesnt solve the problem. IT charges only 45 minutes, and it sais that it's FULL. then I can use it only 1 day and i have to charge it again. Its a new battery, and the old battery did the same thing. I think theres a problem with the phone. After 45 mins it always sais that it is full, even when I turd it off. Sometimes when I plug of the cable, and I plug it again i charges for a 2-3 minuter and again writes that Battery Full.
